![]() | The structural depth of window profiles is: 45 mm (frame), 54 mm (sash), and door profiles are respectively: 45 mm and 45 mm. Thus, the adopted depths of the frame and sash profiles give the effect of one plane from the outside after closing - for windows, and the effect of a single-faced surface of the door leaf and frame - for doors. The shape of the profiles allows for thin and durable window and door structures. |
A significant advantage of the MB-45 system is the ability to bend profiles, for example for frames, sashes and lintels, which ensures the implementation of various types of arches and arched structures. Tightness is ensured using special seals made of EPDM synthetic rubber, which guarantees resistance to aging for many years of operation.
A characteristic feature of the system is its close connection with window and door systems MB-45D, MB-45FD, MB-60 and MB-70. The versatility and attractiveness of the system is further enhanced by the possibility of selecting several solutions regarding different structural details, for example: the bottom seal of the door leaf, the seal of sliding and swing doors, the shape of the glazing strips, the shape and height of the door thresholds. The MB-45S mortise door design is also associated with this system.
The system allows the use of glazing systems with thicknesses from 2 mm to 35 mm in casement windows and from 2 mm to 26 mm in fixed windows and door leaves. Based on the MB-45 system, it is also possible to produce smoke-tight doors MB-45D of class Sa and S200.
