Lamella Pergola ALQ-TM (Lamella with thermal bridge)
The B&G company has developed its own thermal protection mechanism for the ALQ-TM Pergola lamellas from sunlight, which has no analogues in the world.
Actually, the innovative solution was the use of a thermal bridge made of Polyamide between the upper and lower surfaces inside the lamella.
During the testing, positive results were revealed, namely: after prolonged heating of the upper part of the lamella, the temperature of the lower part was unchanged.
Thanks to this solution, it was possible to significantly reduce the temperature under the roof of the structure, which led to more comfortable conditions for using the Pergola on hot days of the summer
season.
Lamella Pergola ALQ-TM is an aluminum pergola with rotating lamellas that performs several functions at once:
- Adjustable sun protection
- Protection from rain and even snow
- Natural ventilation
- This pergola is designed in a minimalist design with a flat roof and a rectangular shape of the structure.
In the closed position, due to the unique shape of the lamellas, the roof completely drains rainwater and maintains a dry environment in the space under the structure.
The lamella with thermostat was developed by our company and patented in Ukraine for a period of 10 years. The development of the concept began for a reason. Analyzing numerous reviews from our customers, we concluded that we need a qualitatively new product. And in 2020 we created a new lamella, obtaining the following result:
- Increased comfort in summer (the lamella does not heat the space under the Pergola). On a sunny day, the upper part - the lamellas - heats up to 65 degrees Celsius, while the lower part remains at the ambient temperature level.
- In the autumn-spring period, condensation does not fall on the lamellas
- Improved water drainage.
- The thickness of the lamella wall has been increased (3mm), which has a positive effect on the rigidity of the structure and its functionality.
- There is now the possibility of double-sided painting (top and bottom of lamellas in different colors).
- A new engine and mechanism control unit have been used.
- The warranty period for the product has been increased to three years.
The new electromechanical control increases comfort and allows precise adjustment of the position of the slats.
The entire ALQ-TM structure is made of solid-drawn aluminum based on snow loads, which for our region is 160 kg per square meter.
Painting of the structure in any RAL color (K7) matt or gloss, as well as 8 structural shades. Before painting, the profile must undergo chemical treatment (passivation) - this is a very important stage in painting technology. Without this process, there is no point in talking about the quality or durability of the coating.
By creating a new product ALQ-TM, we received the following advantages:
- longer service life;
- the unique shape of the lamellas ensures high rigidity and resistance to both wind and snow loads;
- integrated water drainage system;
- electromechanical positioning of the angle of inclination of the lamellas using a remote control;
- rotation of the lamellas at an angle of 140°;
- rubber seals on each lamella.
